The aim of this project is to assist the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Committee in reviewing cases through collecting and analyzing background related to environmental issues. In addition, the project provides monographs and assistance to simplify the EIA standard procedure. This project arranged fourteen assistants for EIA committee members. Each assistant would accumulate materials for EIA and accomplish monthly reports to show what have they done. We also do the survey to understand whether the assistant meet the committee members’ need. And the result would be the reference for the assistant arrangement next year. The 9th EIA committee members left their office on July 31, 2013. In order to make the EIA committee run smoothly, this project also held the symposium for the 9th and 10th EIA Committee members. This project accomplished sixteen EIA issues consultation and data collection assignments. The project also make some suggestions on EIA implementation、monographs and assistants arrangement for EPA reference.
